Ham Member Lookups: 3707

Thanks for looking me up, I have been a radio ham since early 2007 previous callsigns MW3RUH and 2W0RUH I completed my journey to full licence level in late 2011.

I am the Training officer for South Glamorgan Raynet and Zone coordinator for RAYNET Wales,  and as such experiment with digital technology (D-Star) on 2 metres/ 70cms and 23cms voice and data.

At home you can often find me on PSK31 across the bands, but also I venture onto SSTV

Now the proud owner of an ICOM IC-7100 and as such I have begun experimenting HF mobile as well as at home, so if you catch me on HF and also have a 7100 or 9100, ask me to test DV mode with you.

Antenna at home currently testing is a Western HF10 Trap Dipole. Mobile I use single band AmPro whips which I change according to propagation / conditions.

I am often found on the D-Star network where I spend a lot of my time, look me up on MB6BA or GB7CD repeaters or via Reflector DCS005B.

You can also look up my Internet Simplex Gateway MB6BA here on QRZ.COM.
