Sparks at the shed Amateur Radio Club is a very Young club that was started in january 2017 by MW0HVB ,MW6JFI and MW6AGS as amateurs for the last few years met up at a local cafe one day ,with fed up with a lot of Traveling to club that we belong to in different parts of south Pemebrokeshire ,Why dont we start our own club right hear at the cafe.Where we met up with a Amateur that had been off the air for over 20 years GW6TKK Simon now we have 4 radio operaters .Now as it was cold sitting out side. A place at the men,s shed LETTERSTON came up and that was the start of Sparks at the shed . We started   looking out for new member. Along came none amateurs that was very intrested in radio and joined the club .We had to find some one that was willing to teach then and 6 weeks later we have 6 new license holder .At this moment we have 17 paid up members and 2/3 are very intsreted in joining .The club has got a 40ft mast donated by a amateur from bridgend with the help od Glyn of RSGB Wales now waiting for planning .We have new radio equipment with the help of a lottery grant that is where the club MW0SML/MC0SML is at after . We have a repeater for the use of GB3UP located in the town of Fishguard where most of members live  you can find us locally on 145.500 fm and on  Facebook and alos on the web site :https://sparks.btck.co.uk
