First licensed in 1977 I was bitten by the DXing and contesting bug immediately thereafter. I will never forget my first DX qso contacting XE1BD/3 with about 2 watts using my Heathkit HW-8.

Having setup on a Minnesota lakeshore, my first contest style event was the ARRL Field Day. 40 years later DXing and contesting continue to capture my fascination with the hobby.

METEOR SCATTER: When not chasing DX or contesting you will find me active on 6 and 2 meter meteor scatter using WSJT-X and the MSK144 mode. Im often on Ping Jockey if you'd like to try a QSO. https://www.pingjockey.net/cgi-bin/pingtalk

EME: Ive been atempting, with some sucsess, to work 2M EME on JT65b with a 4X7 array. Thank you to those who have helped me with your great patience, and stations, to log my first few DXCC countries on 2m EME!

I'm also active on JT65 (Mode A), JT9 and FT8. I am always searching for that new DXCC country on those modes. Most often on 40 or 80m.

Every so often I'll find my way onto the satellites. Hoping to do a bit more of that in the future when time allows.

QSL's with SASE preferred for VP5/N0KK, J3/N0KK

QSL's for VP5R (Oct.1999) via N0AT

QSL's for N0KK - No postage needed..The "Old Fashioned Way"! I'm happy to confirm with QSL for your awards.

Sorry, NO eQSL

I do use LOTW but prefer actual paper QSL's!

DXCC Confirmed Totals: Worked/Confirmed (PSE QSL!)

I have used NO remote stations to work my DXCC totals or have I included any contest QSO's while made as a guest op at anothers station.. I do NOT believe including remote stations in the DXCC program to be an acceptable practice. It takes away from the sportsmanship of the program.
