SWL contacts are welcomed. I will respond to all contacts by direct mail. I enjoy PSK31 and other modes.  I am returning to CW, but had a hard time trying to figure out the type of key I will use but finally decided to use a sideswipper because the movement of the keys seemed more natural to me than using iambic paddles,   First licensed in 1973 while living in Acton Massachusetts as WB1CDD.  This was about the time the FCC was changing over from the novice designation.  I know this because my original call was going to  be WN1CDD, but the licensed arrived as a WB1CDD.  My wife now holds the WB1CDD call.  I next upgraded to KB1GZ while living in Massachusetts.  I could never get over the 20wpm code requirement to get the Extra class license, but since code is no longer required, I did pass the Extra class test.  Both of my kids and my son-in-law have licenses, but are not active.

The image you see is of me and my wife taken while we visited Masada in Israel a few years ago, the actual date for the visit is on the photograph.

All cards received are answered and the use of an SASE is not needed or asked for.  SEND THE QSL VIA THE BUREAU OR DIRECT, AGAIN 100% RESPONSE.
