Ham Member Lookups: 3446

I was first licensed in January 2010 as a Tech, and by June 2010 I had upgraded to General class. I got my license after being a longtime radio Disc Jockey and watching local ham operators at special events . After asking a few questions it wasn't long before I was ready to get my ticket. Even today with the internet making worldwide communications simple and easy, I am still fascinated by radio and enjoy making contacts around the world. My call N2ADK is a vanity received in August 2010 it reflects my love for the Adirondack Mtns. The old call was KC2WMG. I am the EC for Madison County ARES and Member of ARRL, OMISS #7510 and ECARS. I monitor/scan 444.300, 147.240 and 145.170.

I am located in Munnsville, Ny. Grid FN22ex. My station currently consist of a Yaesu FT-DX1200, Yaesu FT-817ND, Yaesu FT-2900, Power Supply is a Yaesu FP1030. HF Antenna is a Hustler BTV5 ground mounted with 40 radials and a 2 meter Hustler G6 144B @ 25 ft. In the truck is a Yaesu FT-7900 dual bander with a NMO mount antenna. HT is a Yaesu VX-8GR. I also own and mantain a UHF repeater 444.300 PL 103.5 and is linked to the NYS UHF link system. (System 2)

I QSL 100%, and usually get your direct QSL card out within a couple of days of receiving it. NO SASE NEEDED FROM ANYONE, AND THAT INCLUDES DX STATIONS. I feel that if you go through the time, effort, and expense to send me a QSL card, I should do the same. For those that do send SASE's, I do appreciate it, and it helps to get your cards out quicker. I typically send cards out as I receive them, i.e. if you send one in an envelope, I'll send you one in an envelope; as a postcard, I'll send you one as a postcard; etc. If you sent a card, and didn't receive one from me, send me an e-mail and I will get a card out to you.

I also use LoTW and typically upload my logs once day. I always upload all contacts up to that date, so if you don't have a LoTW confirmation from me and I worked you, let me know and we can figure it out. I will still respond to paper QSL requests even if we have a LoTW confirmation.
