Hi, I have been an amateur radio operator for more than 30 years. I was first licensed back in 1975 as WA2IWB Technician and then later amateur general class 13 words CW license.   In 1977, I passed my First Class Commercial Radio Operator, today known as GROL Licence.  In 1980 I openned my radio communications service shop right at the hart of New York City, across from Macys, known as C & M Radio.   We were an authorized Motorola and General Electric radios sale, service installation and warranty service shop.  I became specialized in the 800 MHZ Smartnet and Smartzone Trunking System working with New York City Transit Police Department Communications Unit and hand to had with the Motorola engineers in the design and building of  the 800 MHZ Trunking System for MTA New York City Transit, the largest transportation in the world with more than 44,000 users.   Throughout all these years I adquired an inmence knowlwdge in 2way radio commercial communications.  I like to operate on packet, do some CW, echolink and FM on KQ2H on the frequency of 449.225 or 445.900. Today I also hold a commercial GMRS License (WQKS-419).   I love motorola radios like, Saber, System Saber, MT1000, HT1250, GP68, MT500, Visar, GP300, HT600,  Astro Sabers, MTS2000, XTS3000, XTS5000, XPR6550 for DMR MTRBO, and Motorola APX7000 XE radios for P25 and Bluetooth Oprations.
