QRS CW pse! I am still learning.

I passed elements 2, 3, and 4 on the 20th of February, 2016. My involvement with amatuer radio began as an interest in radio astronomy. I would like to build an amateur radio telescope some day. This will require help from multiple experts in the fields of SDR, microwave, super-LNAs, low-noise transverters, and more. These are just the sorts of people that are involved in amatuer radio.

It was surprising when, along the way, several members of my family decided to also become licensed (see below). My son (KI7FUO) and I picked up a desire to master CW. I joined my local CERT team to lend radio assistance to the community. We all joined our local club and have been excited to meet hams from around the world. Our interest in this hobby is growing deeper every day.

All HF contacts use 10 watts or less and battery power.
