Hi there!

I'm a fairly new ham still learning the ropes. I earned my Technician Ticket on 7/13/15 (KC3FHK) and received my vanity call of N2PPK a few weeks later. On 11/10/15, I earned my General License. At the time I was living in an apartment and could not have a permanent antenna, so I hung an MFJ-1622 apartment antenna out the window and activated on digital modes. In the mean time, I also focused on VHF/UHF mobile.

As of 4/1/17, I have moved to my new QTH and am focused on getting active on HF. I'm currently running my IC-7200 through a 40m resonant dipole that I built and hung on a mast about 25' above ground level until I can muster up a better multi-band antenna. I'm tuning with an LDG IT-100 tuner.

I'm also running an IC-2300H as a mobile rig running 2m in my Subaru Crosstrek amd starting to dabble in D-STAR. I've got a DVMega kit that I'm toying with, but still not there. I do, however, jump on the repeaters when I'm about 30 minutes south by my old apartment.
