First photo: My Aikido teacher, T.K Chiba, Shihan (1940-2015), presenting me with my 2nd dan black-belt certificate, back in 1989.
Second photo: T.K Chiba, Shihan, and the uchi deshi and kenshusei at the San Diego Aikikai. I'm directly behind Chiba sensei.
I taught Aikido at UC San Diego and UC Irvine for several years. In the photo, above, I'm throwig my student, Alan.
Shooting my Mathews Z7 (before I turned it into a free-style bow and added a long stabilizer and scope). My other bows are a Matthews Z7 Xtreme Tactical, and a Hoyt Formula Ion-X Olympic recurve.

Gordon West (WB6NOA), Tim Hill (N6QJ) and me broadcasting Ham Nation episode #40, live from the "Last Man Standing" TV show stage, at the CBS studios in Studio City, California (03/20/2012).
Until May 2013, I worked (generally) behind the scenes on "Ham Nation", a weekly video podcast about ham radio that's aired live, every Wednesday, at 1800 hours Pacific time on Leo Laporte's TWiT (This Week in Tech) network. Watch the show live at http://live.twit.tv or see archived episodes at http://twit.tv/hn. The show is hosted by Bob Heil (K9EID), Gordon West (WB6NOA) and George Thomas (W5JDX). I shot videos for the show, kept an eye on the live chatroom, maintained the computer system in Gordon's studio/shack, and handled the videos submitted by viewers.
One type of flying... Steadicam...
...And here's another! No, this is not my plane.. nowhere near aerobatic enough!
This is more my style... an Extra 300L. Fully aerobatic, fueled up, and ready to rock and roll, pulling 6G!
My fiancee (now wife!), N6HLF, was on "Wheel of Fortune" (actually, she was on it twice). She won the show, and went to the Bonus Round, so I got a brief speaking part on this, the 25th Anniversary of the show. I was the first contestant's guest to actually speak on camera!
N6HLF, Hannah and me, in Oahu, HI.
I worked on episode 217 of Tim Allen's hit TV show, "Last Man Standing" as a technical consultant. Ham radio played an important (and funny) part of the plot. The show's Producer, John Amodeo (NN6JA), hopes this will be the first of many new ham radio-related stories on the show.
"Last Man Standing" was renewed for a third season, and I was able to provide some services for episode 308, the Thanksgiving show. Here are some more behind-the-scenes photos from the show:
Obviously I'm into ham radio, but I also enjoy shooting and editing video (see my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/jyunte Another hobby (my wife would call it, an "Obsession") is flying radio controlled aircraft. I frequently put cameras on the planes, and try to do some crazy aerobatics, hoping the camera is still attached when the plane lands! See the YouTube channel for some examples of the airborne camera system.
