I am David - I live in the beautiful smoky mountains of North Carolina. I enjoy raising chickens and goats and my pets Charley the Blue&Gold Macaw and Boss the blue heeler dog (Mascott).

I enjoy having LONG QSOs via CW. While I'm happy to hand out club numbers towards your awards, consider hanging around. I want to hear your story. Tell me about that time you fought in the war. Tell me about the time you had a little too much to drink and woke up in the county lockup. Tell me about how proud of your children and grandchildren you are. Or... Tell me about that time you helped herd the aliens into a hangar back in the 40s. I want to hear your story.

  • I got my Technician license WAAAAY back on March 18, 2015 wink (KM4IXK)
  • I got my General upgrade Way back on July 25, 2015 devil (N4IVE)

My CW is still improving (QRS 18?). Thank you for the people who responded and slowed down to talk with me when I was sending and receiving at 5wpm smiley

I am simply amazed how far I can get out with my QRP rig! Longest is 4460.4 miles on 40m. (Hi Felix!) Holy smokes! Only 4w!

QSL Cards - I will respond to all snail mail QSL Cards. No SASE Required.
