Home QTH - EM57qb
My home station is located in the city of Paducah, KY and consists of the Elecraft K Line -- including K3 transceiver, P3 panadaptor, a KPA500 amplifier and a KAT500 antenna tuner. I also have an Alpha 9500 amplifier. Antennas include a Mosley TA-63N six band yagi on a 55 foot crank-up tower, verticals for 80M, 40M and 30M and an Inverted L for 160M. I use DX4WIN and N1MM+ for logging, and an MDS RC-1 for automated rotor control. For remote antenna switching, I use a Top Ten Devices two radio controller, band decoder and A/B Station Selector.
Remote QTH - EM56px
I have recently purchased 3 acres of land in a remote part of McCracken County, Kentucky (about 10 miles SW of my home QTH). Future plans include a 4 square vertical array for 80M, dual verticals in phase for 160M and beams for the other bands. The station is being built to support remote operation. I am currently QRV at the remote site with a K3 transceiver and Butternut HF9V vertical.
