Hello.

I started out like most on the 11 meter C.B. Band back in the late 1960.

I had a six channel crystal set ,100 watt kicker,and a CLR-2 Antenna.

I could hardly wait for School to get out so I could get home and "Shoot Skip".

I tweaked and modified every one of them thru the years. I didn't really know what i was doing at the time but it

always seemed to worked out for the best. I got my Tech in 1989 and upgraded to General in 2011.

I worked in a Power Plant for three years as a Control Room Operator and in that time I taught myself

Electronics thru a Complete Communications Electronics Correspondent Course.

I left the Power Plant and went to work for Texas Communications working on Motorola Two Way Radios.

I did that for a while then moved on to Ranger Aviation working on Flight Computers, NAV/COM radios,Transponder ect.

The radio shop closed so I moved on again to various jobs working for a vending company as a Route Man then Self Employment repairing Video Games&Pinball Machines and Juke Boxes. I finally settled at the School District in 1988.

I was hired on as a Electronics Repair Man working on first A/V equipment such as  TV's , VCR's Commodore Computers ect.

Then it went on to include IBM Computers, installing /repairing Intercom Systems..repairing Fire Systems.Score Boards.

Phone Systems and  Energy Management Systems damm near anything with a computer chip in it.

While at the I.S.D. it got my Journeyman Electricians License. In between my other jobs I helped the Electrical Dept.

build new services to the buildings and then general electrical repair when they needed me.

I retired in 2001 and since just been taking it easy doing house hold repairs and such. I still do some radio repair

and computer repair on the side. I enjoy yakking on H.F. and D-Star radio.

Well that's all folks 73's and happy DXing.
