Joined the US Navy in 1979. Attended Naval Avionics Electronics School in Memphis Tennessee. (1979). Became an Aviation Electronic Technician and served two western pacific curses aboard the USS Ranger where I maintained and fixed HF,VHF,and UHF communication equipment for US Navy. Moved to Alaska in 1981 where I served the rest of my 6 years military duty inactively. Obtained my Novice Amature license in 1984 and became a General class one month later.

I moved to Washington State in 1986 where I attended Knapp Bussiness College and Graduated with a Computer Technology Degree.

I move back to Alaska in 1991 and joined the Juneau Amature Radio Club where I was elected and became VHF chairman. I maintained 4 Club Repeater and 3 repeater of my own while serving on the board.

In 1999 I moved back to my home state of Kansas where I presently reside. I am employed by White Energy where I work in the Ethanol industry.

At present I own and maintain 4 repeaters, several UHF links, IRLP Node, liunx data server, and a APARS Digi. At present I am building my first set of 6 meter duplexers from 3" hardline.
