Ham Member Lookups: 1880

Have been a licensed Ham since 1988 with my first call sign as KB7FKT and second being AA7AK. I became a licensesd ham with encouragement from one of my first bosses Dave W9MPD ( RIP, you are very much missed, one of the most honest persons in business I have ever met. ), whom I had the honor to work for after High School, he had a small, but awesome little Radio shop called Radio World in Boulder City, NV and I loved to tinker and learn about the Radio tech. side for a few years. The late 1980,s and early 1990's were good years to work DX to places far away. I have tried to stay somewhat active, some years not so much. Now I live in an area where I can't have antennas, so I operate mobile or set up portable and am mostly active with ARES/RACES as this seems be more relevant to the new dependency of internet cell phone society. The mobile/portable operating seems useful as well when camping or outdoor events/activities, I do like meeting new hams from all over and learning about information, old tech and new tech, I feel they are both good to know about for new hams, old hams, or those in the middle. I hope to eventually be in a place where I can once again set up a tower and yagi, for now this will have to work.  73's and best of luck catching the DX and learning new things.
