Hello, Thank's for looking me up I've been a ham for 24 years now and really enjoy this hobby more everyday. I got started back in early 1983 when I was in my early 30's and kept going with the help of some friends who kept pushing me forward. I always enjoyed to go on adventures and so this seemed the perfect route to take. To travel around the world instantly with the push of a button now that's my kind of action. Over the years many people have come and gone in my life but never have I lost my thrill of radio. I'm older now and many people my age are retiring so the years go by quickly. The radio keeps people young inside and so I travel through life in a most meaningful way. Time is the greatest gift we have and I thank all of you for spending some of it with me.The world seems so close on the radio, thousands of miles are right next door, over oceans, mountains, farmlands and big cities just a push of the mike key and away we go. My rig is an Icom 756 pro 3 running 100 watts into a home made 40 meter 2 element quad up 70 feet in the tree's. As you can see I like 40 meter's quite a lot. The number of new friend's I'm making everyday is just great, thank you. It's so much fun learning about your lives each contact like a living story book.I still enjoy everyday of my own life but some how ham radio has become a major part of it. I often wonder why the radio is so amazing to me and can never pin it down.I guess the long dreary winter time is now filled with chances to make new friends and travel to lands far away.Everyone Ive met on 40 meters lately are fine radio operators willing to let everyone talk with them. 40 meters has become my favorite place to operate because of my experience there. I look forward to the higher bands improving knowing that new friends will be made there too. My heart is grateful for this hobby and your time on the air with me has been so enriching. I really thank all of you for my great time on ham radio. 73 to everyone. N8gey Bruce Coolidge (South Lyon, Michigan ) I'm located about 30 miles nw of Detroit in a small town or 15 miles north of Ann Arbor, close to the University of Michigan.
