Greetings to everyone!!

I have been a radio enthusiast for over 30 years. Since obtaining my first ticket in 1983 I have always enjoyed working DX as well as checking into various nets. I have a modest collection of older radios that serve me very well. My station consists of a Yaesu FT-920, Icom 756 Pro and an older but still very reliable Kenwood TS-520. I enjoy local 2 meter chats with a Yaesu FT-1500.

Antennas are:

Hy-Gain TH-7 tri-band for 10, 15 and 20 meters

Hy-Gain VB-214 for local 2 meters

Homebrew inverted V for 160, 75 and 40 meters

Rotatable 40 meter dipole

For the past two years I've not operated much due to an on-going tower project that is nearing completion at the time of this post. I've installed a set of hinges on a BX-40 foot tower and a homebrew lifting device.

Now that the tower work is finished, after a few minor cable tasks are completed in the coming days, I'll be ready to enjoy the hobby again. I love the hobby but it has been a lot of work this Summer and Fall but it will be worth it when I start hauling in the DX again very soon!
