Hello from New Berlin, Wisconsin - a suburb of Milwaukee.

If we spoke on HF, I was probably using an Icom IC-756PROIII (< 100W) or a Flex-6500 into a Steppir BigIR vertical (ground mounted) or one of five home-brew wire antennas. If I was mobile, then I was probably using an Icom IC-7000.

I've been licensed since 1986 and an Extra class since 1987.

I operate mostly phone, PSK31 and JT65 on HF and FM voice on VHF/UHF.

I enjoy building my own antennas and engineering the "FM-38" UHF linked Repeater network in Wisconsin. See http://www.fm38.org for more information.

The photo is of me, taken in July 2005 in a Cessna 172-R (N7861A) moments after I landed it at KUES, Waukesha, Wisconsin.  The moustache and my free time for flying are both long gone.

73, Bob
