Licensed in 1962 and N9MM since 1977.

After years of operating and living in Indiana and Texas, we have retired in Colorado Springs. The tall towers, big antennas, and amplifiers have been replaced with a barefoot K3, a modified BuddiStik, and some remote IP operating. So sad, at least from a Big Signal standpoint.  But thankfully I have access to remote stations, so I can occassionally still put out a big signal. And the K3 and BuddiStik have given me hours of enjoyment operating out and about.

XYL Donna and I have always enjoyed traveling. Years ago we did it while showing Paint horses in a dually with a horse trailer in tow. Now we do it in our small motorhome with a Jeep in tow, and most of my operating time now comes while we are out and about, activating parks as part of the World Wide Flora and Fauna (WWFF) program. If you are not familiar, check it out at wwff-kff.org (for U.S. affiliation) and wwff.co (for international program).

QSL via LoTW, but if you'd  QSL from one of the parks, QSL to my home address with SASE.

Please note, Donna and I are traveling during until mid-March, so I will not be able to respond to QSL requests until after we return home.
