I am not currently selling anything in QRZ swapmeet or any other ham site.

I was licensed as a Novice 1971-72 as WN9HJW, then returned to ham radio 29 years later as General KG4WNE. I upgraded to Extra in October 2003 with callsign AI4CB, and then recieved vanity callsign NN4RH in April 2006. From June 2011 to July 2013 I held WN9HJW as a vanity call, but I eventually recovered from my nostalgia phase and got back NN4RH as of August 2013.

I operate mostly CW. Mostly casual operating. I enjoy the larger contests but am not a fanatic about it.

FISTs #9929   SKCC #994   QRPARCI #11626  ARRL Member since 2001

My HF transcievers are an FT-950 and an FT-817ND. Straight keys I usually use are the Kent SK-1, or a Stampfl STM-7 Army; although I have a collection of about a dozen vintage straight keys and may be using one of those occassionally.  I prefer single-lever paddles, and currently own a Begali Mono Basic.

My antennas include a Butternut HF2V vertical for 80, 40, 30 and 15 meters. I have a separate ground mounted vertical adjustable length for 20 through 10 meters, and a wire dipole for 15 meters.

I upload 100% of my QSOs to both eQSL and LOTW usually within a few days. SWL QSLs on eQSL are welcome. I generally do not initiate postal/hardcopy QSL card exchanges, unless requested. However, I will of course reply to any hardcopy QSL cards or requests for QSL cards that I receive, including those from SWLs. SASE is not necessary with direct QSLs. I also use the ARRL bureau and FISTS bureau, but since my hard-copy QSL volume is low I may not get the bureau cards very often and so don't respond very often, so be patient! I do not participate in QRZ Logbook.

Early 1970s Callsign Lookups:  I no longer do lookups, since there are now images of old Callbooks on archive.org.

I occassionally reset my QRZ Lookup Counter. So the lookup count is not an indication of my activity.

*** Someone has illicitely used my callsign on the DX spotting sites to post insulting comments.  That was not me.
