Hello, I am Masa (Masahito) Kagawa, NW6UP.
Being a ham since 1982, originally started in Japan as JN1WUP. Also known as KF6RZM. My activities in these days is D-Star / Reflector QSO, as HF propagation condition is not good.
Currently, my main operation is from my vehicle as my location is very limited for antennas. D-Star, BPSK31, RTTY, FreeDV, and JT65 can be operated from the mobile station as well as SSB/CW.
I am a software engineer, mainly developing Windows base software, but also worked with NodeJS/C++/Java/JavaScript/PHP/Perl and many languages, also Linux/Unix platforms. I have two teenage boys, who are not interested in the radio at all :-)
Recently I started D-STAR operation with DVMEGA. The owner of XLX246 reflector.
RIG: TS-690, FT-857D (HF and VHF, D-Star with GMSK modem), and ID-31 (D-STAR) + DVMega & DVAP + ircDDBGateway
Ant: Mobile Whip is my main antenna +Buddipole (DP) for field operation
QSL: LoTW or eqsl.cc (paper QSL card is not preferable, but it's OK)
A member and Callsign trustee of JANET Club / SVJHC (KK6JA, Silocon Valley Japanese Ham Club)
For inquiry about SVJHC, send me an email or go to our web site in Facebook, http://facebook.com/SVJHC
