Hi, thank's for visiting - probably we had a qso somewhere on the bands... :-)

...about me... I'm licensed since 1980 and holded the callsign OE8HWQ for about 35 years - due to QRM from a fellow HAM in the neighbourhood I changed my callsign to OE8TTR - no more troubles with "stolen QSO's"...  :-)

Most of my HAM life I was active on VHF-DX (2m/6m), doing ES/MS and some EME, but due to our somewhat "poor geographical location" (alpine region), increasing local QRM and disliking of the new digital modes (I want to hear signals and not only reading them on my PC screen...), I'm now mainly on HF - trying to do some DX and making some noise...

BTW, if you heard/worked me in CW - the stuttering is not the fault from my keyer - it's me - sri! Since my last stroke (# 3) I'm somewhat disabled and from time to time I'm loosing the connection to my fingers...   :-)

My actual station on HF is a FLEX-6500, an ICOM-PW1 and a 3el SteppIR-Beam (which will be adapted into a 4 Element in spring).

...that's all for now... If you hear me, please give me a shout - will be my pleasure talking with you!

This is my QTH/QSL - just to give you an impression what "alpine region" means (and believe me this is not the worst direction...). Btw, the mountain is called KORALPE and is 2140m ASL)...
