Born in march 1936. From 1954 study on High technical school - faculty of radiotechnic, graduated in 1960. In 1955 - 1st QSO on clubstation OK1KKJ in Podebrady 1956 - 1961 each year I send the application for the licence, but this was not issued over political problems. I leave full time in Přerov - before in the central part of the old Czechoslovakia, now the same QTH is in east part of the little Czech republic. I worked to the June 1996 as railway-signaling ingenieur in region management and laboratory, from July 1996 retired.

I wkd as operateur on clubstations OK1KKJ, OK1KUR, OK2KJU and between 1990-2012 chief op on OK5SAZ / OK2RAC. Become in FEB 1962 - own licence OK2QX - class "C", after 6 months class "B", in 1963 - make first time 3rd place in Czechoslovakian Short wave Championship. From 1965 - class "A". Between 1965 - 1975 five times 1st place in Czechosl. SW Championship, in other years on 2nd or 3rd place. In 1967 I become tittle "master of radiosport", in 1970 "extra class" licence legalized my 1 kW out power and to the 1975 I worked only with full homebrew stations. My first commercional rig was FT-107M and from 1994 TS-850S. In 1990 I establish the Czech and Slovak group of FIRAC (Railwaymen-radioamateurs association) and more as 15 years I alternate as president or vicepresident, but the new president worked not correctly under FIRAC principles, not accepted the OM hams and I resigned in 2015 for membership in this group. About 30 years - to the 2002 I was also a member of the management of Czechoslovakian Central radioclub. To the 2010 year I see 28 DXCC countries and from 24 I was also QRV. Now I am more as 80 years old and - HAM oldtimer.

To this time: I worked in all world contest's previously on CW, in more as 100 I was Czechoslovak winner; in more as 10 world winner; have more as 1000 Awards, logged to Aug 2015 on own call more as 400.000 QSO's and "full DXCC" (sorry, P5 only CW not valid for DXCC), from 1986 I wkd only with 100W out - first commercial rig was FT-107M, then TS-850S, AERs from 1998 80 m LW, WARC vertical and handly rotated 3 el tribander. Now from March 2010 I use barefoot Elecraft "K3" rig and my LW aer is now only 54 m long and the "city QRM" is in my QTH S8 on 80 m. I collaborate about 50 years with Czech radioamateurs magazines - writted the technical and DX info's, and I have issued about ten books for radioamateurs and one as scriptum for the high technical school "Wirelles Communication". My QSL is 100 % as answer via bureau, but for many stations I send QSL first. From 1994 I send full the log to the E-QSL bureau also and into LoTW. Now are renewed, if you QSO is not confirmed, please send me information as email. But each paper QSL via bureau (or direct with return postage) is appreciated and answered.
