I've started with CB radio in 1975 (that time illegal in Belgium) and I made many DX-QSO's worldwide on the AM & SSB freq's. That time I started also with listening at all the HF bands with old RX equipment, and for sure, I was bitten by the Radio-microbe...

I've got my ON-licence since 1992 and I could work on the VHF & UHF bands with reduced PWR. My first VHF transceiver was a home made TRX with a MRF477 + BLY 89, and my first VHF receiver was a modified broad-cast AM/FM radio...

And since August 2003 my ON1DHA call was 'up-dated' to ON6ERS...since then I can be heard at the HF bands... My first 'radio-amateur' challenge and target for now is to learn the CW.

I could choose the suffix ERS and that's an abbreviation from my job (and hobby too...)

I hope that you enjoyed the DX-QSO wich I just made with you, or .. that we can talk in the near future with eachoter...

Best 73's to all ! Eddie
