Hello dear visitor,

Tnx for watching my profile here. I started my hobby as radio amateur after my examination in November 1979. I am in retirement since 2013 and now " full-time "  radio amateur, living on the island Borkum,  located north of  the Dutch town Groningen in the Wadden Sea at the south side and the North Sea at the north side. Borkum is original  a German island  and  German territory. I have the Dutch call sign PC1MK but also a German call sign  DD4MK. The grid square of my QTH is JO33IN and I am the only active radio amateur in this square, so if you are a " grid square hunter " ...go ahead. I am active on most bands as 160 mtr, 80 mtr, 40 mtr, 30 mtr,20 mtr,17 mtr, 15 mtr, 12 mtr, 10 mtr, 6 mtr, 2 mtr and 70 cm, in the modes CW, SSB and some digital modes.

I am a very active person  with  Kids Day, Jamboree On The Air, as Lighthouse Operator, and I am a member the Dutch Amateur Radio Emergency Service (DARES) and the Global Emergency Communications (GEM).

The power Supply for my station are high capacity batteries, charged by a wind generator and Solar Cells.

Member of the VRZA (Vereniging van Radio Zend Amateurs)

Member(Lifetime International Associate Member) of the PARA (Philippine Amateur Radio Association Inc.)
