Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. I was an SWL since 1988. My SWL call UA6-150-1367. I had RV6LFE since 1993 till October 2010. Now I've got a shorter call RL6M because prefer to run in a contests. But also I'm still hunting some IOTA, DX and WARC band QSO's. My wife Natalie is also a HAM - RN6LFE. But our two kids decrease her radio activity.
I'm working as system administrator (IT-man) at local company. Moreover, I'm freelance technical English-Russian translator. Visit www.novoch.net to learn a details...
My station consist of IC-756PROIII and IC-756PRO and no power amplifier!
Yes! I always use only 100 W, even on top band!
My position is currently under renovation. I have moved to a new QTH and need to do a lot of antenna works. Still have a QUAD's antenna for 40 M - 10 M bands and vertical wires for low bands.
Many years ago I was SWL and fan of QSL exchange, but now came the era of computers and paper QSL-cards have become an anachronism. Our computers generate labels and we automatically send out thousands of useless cards.
I do not understand the strategy, when someone after a contest simply prints labels for all QSO’s from log and sends QSL to all in a row! What for? What you will do with my 10 or 15 QSL's sended in return?
Please, do not send me your QSL via bureau. I do not need them! If I will need your card, I will send you a request through OQRS or somehow else.
Use LOTW (Clublog.org for IOTA), E-QSL.CC or OQRS at https://secure.clublog.org/logsearch/RL6M
If, however, you still need my paper card (for example, “for collection” or “for memory”), and you want to receive it via Bureau, please, write out it by your hands, indicating all QSO data on it.
I will answer only to handwritten QSL!
Hope to understanding.
P.S. Yes, Please call me in every contest!
