Please send me your QSL via bureau or direct. QSLs received via the bureau service will be answered 100% same way.

I've passed my radio exam and CW test in school at the age of 15 in 1988. UA6AFZ was my first callsign since 1988 till 1995. Many thanks for my best teacher Eugeny Gorbunov (UA6ART), who help me to love the radio! At this photo I and my friend Roman (ex UA6AHB) during local junior's field day (approx. 1986-1988)

I studied in Taganrog State Radioengineer University (Rostov region, south of european Russia) at 1990-95 . Than worked IT system administrator and programmer in Moscow (capital of Russia), Krasnodar and Tuapse. I have got new callsign RU6BV in 1995.

Since May'2014 my new short callsign is RU6B.

I currently reside in Tuapse (temporary, a few days per month) and in Krasnodar (all other time).

Tuapse (RDA: KR-58) is a small town on the north Black Sea's coast, 80 km north-west from Sochi - capital of Winter Olympic Games 2014. My house about 10 minutes walking from sea beach! In Tuapse my RIG is Yaesu FT-450D. Antennas are yagi tribander for 20-15-10m bands and dipoles/sloppers for other bands. I often use this position by the homemade remotecontrol.

Other QTH - Krasnodar (RDA: KR-02), 130 km north from Tuapse. There I'm using Yaesu FT-2000 + ACOM 1000 (1kw). Antenna is simple windom, but yagi will be there in nearest future...

I enjoy CW, DXing, contesting.

LoTW and ClubLog updated monthly and/or after major contests, but please send me your paper QSL also! LoTW and similar services are fast and easy, but I think a lot of the charm of QSL-ing is lost. Please QSL direct, if you want a paper card fast. Via Buro is okay too, but will take longer. Usually I send QSL cards via the buro twice per year.

I love paper QSL!!! Please send me your QSL via the bureau or direct. If you send me your QSL direct - please include SAE and new IRC (preffered) or 1 green stamp (it's enough - just for post charge compensation). Cards received without enough postage, will be answered via bureau.

My DXCC account status (updated 15-Dec-2017):

If you want to receive my QSL direct (you can use Clublog OQRS direct also) - this is a picture of QSL that I'll send to you :

You can check your callsign in my log at Clublog: https://secure.clublog.org/logsearch/RU6B

My others major hobbyes are traveling and photography, spending a large amount of my free time at nature, forests, sea. I visited Austria, Chech, Egypt, India, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and other. I was at Baikal Sea (East Siberia) during last trip at august '2014.
