My first contact with ham radio was in 1961 at the age of 7 when my neighbour  SM4BVJ was complaining about his wire antennas.

Later on we moved and my next neighbour was SM4CXL, with whom I spent contless hours working as his second op. using his callsign.

In 1971 he got me a CW course and we started to practice, I learned CW but at the age of 15 girls were more interesting, so amateur radio was not my first priority.

In 1976 I met my old friends again after many years, and in 1977 I took my license as SM4IVE and half a year later I upgraded to class A with a requested CW proficiency of 16 wpm.

My main interests are VHF UHF SHF. Sometimes you can find me on HF but that´s very rare.
