Hello to all stations working via satellite. VHF half wave mobile antenna and UHF Collinear and work portable or an indoor attic discone antenna with low power. See you on the birds!
Also on echo link, dstar, Dmr. p25.
First interested in short wave DX in grade school and my first rig was a Heathkit HR-10B receiver, ( loved that receiver ) which got me interested in ham radio. First HF transceiver was a Heathkit HW-100 and a beloved Icom 2at, “Wow a portable emergency telephone long before cell phones”! “I think I was the only person in my town with a portable phone (icom ic-2at ht via autopatch) in the early 80s”. The power of Ham Radio!
