HELLO FOLKS...

My name is Bob.

We live and spend much of our summer months at our QTH in L'Orignal, Ontario, Canada & yes it’s actually a small town near Hawkesbury, Ontario located on the Ottawa River between Ottawa, Ontario and Montreal Quebec, Canada.

Our winters find us near the white sandy beaches in Clearwater, Florida to escape the cold & snow.

My Hobbies ...  Amateur Radio, Rag Chewing,  Stealth HF Antennas, Home Brew HF Antenna building, APRS, Camping, Recreational Vehicle Travel, RV solar energy set-up, motorcycles, flying drones, boating & fishing.

My current HF antenna is a G5RV and a VHF /UHF vertical up approximately 70’ at the APEX on a DMX tower

My HF preference includes the 20M band around 14.305.00 to 14.307.00 Mhz.

and the 40M band around 7.160 Mhz.

You will find me most days on Reflector 30 Charlie on the D-Star network.

You can also follow me in the mobile on  http://www.aprs.fi.   (VA3TKO)

When mobile I usually monitor 146.520 MHz (Simplex) or the 30 C D-Star Relector.

Hope to hear you somewhere on the bands

73 for now.....Enjoy the hobby! Stay active!!
