First Licensed in 1968. Callsign is correct - I am ex-UK! Emigrated to USA in 1960. Worked as a University professor in Neurology all over the States until coming to Canada in 1988.
Involved in research into Muscular Dystrophy.Licensed in US as WA3KJG, WA0VJO and got my Extra class call NZ0W in 1980s. CW @ 20wpm was the hardest exam I ever took. Moved to Canada and got VE6XUK in 1988 Enjoy ragchewing, working a little Dx. I spend a lot of my air time on Dstar and DMR. Also D-star (VA6XG C) with coverage in the Edmonton metropolitan area using a RaspberryPi and DVRPTR board on 147.420 MHz. It is simplex but you have to enable the repeater shift and then put the shift at 0.00! Yes, I know, but that is the way it works.
