Hello to those connecting for the first time. This is Amateur Radio Station VK3CSJ licenced for 39 years and located at QF21pw Longitude 145.18'.38'' East or 214.41'.52'' West of... Latitude 38.2'.38'' South H.A.S.L 23 Meters or 75 feet.

Licenced on the 18th of February 1977 my Call Sign was VK3NCO for 8 years, 1985 saw me with a combined Limited/Full License Station Call VK3KJN for 5 years then in 1990 obtained the Full Call VK3CSJ on 8.4.1991.

The Station has evolved over the years with equipment coming and going, the various pictures below pretty much explains it all.

The property size is 5542m2 or just over an Acre we now have two Nally Mast's, one for HF and one for VHF/UHF antennas.

Digital DVB-S ATV Station (S&R System and a DTX1 as a Standby and Simplex system) is now up and running through VK3RTV the first Digital ATV Repeater in Australia, Melbourne. You can see me most Friday evenings at 10pm or 11:00 UTC on VK3RTV2

We have comms all the way from 160m to 23cm, with D-Star, DPMR and P25, DVB-S.

The ATV Antennas are pictured further down the page.

VK3RTV video streams to the BATC website, sometimes this link maybe down.

Other interests are Radio Astronomy, a member of A.S.V (Astronomical Society of Victoria) for the last 22 years, Radio Astronomy Section of which I am Section Director last 9 years. I now run a regular net every Friday evening at 22:00 EST on 3541KHz using ASV's Amateur Radio Callsign VK3EKH for more information click here

The New Shack both here and at the top right hand corner. Below the "Clinton Towers"...

The old radio shack at 34 Ray Street Dandenong West of some 20 years, the old house has now been knocked down replaced with units!

Just another shot of the new shack, the other corner of the room below - a work in progress!

The ATN 8 Element Log, a lovely antenna glad to finally have one!

The TE-57 a 7 band beam 30m to 10m.

The 160 meter Cushcraft Mono Pole MAV160, works quite well.

Studio A - its taken 3 years since moving to Narre Warren but I think the Shack is now right.

Studio - B (The otherside of the room!)

The ATV Antennas fixed on VK3RTV1/2, a Grid Pack and a 14 Element close spaced ATN beam.
