I Enjoy playing around with any thing to do with Technology- Phones, computers, Tv's etc if it is a piece of tech I Love it. I recently built myself my first computer and that was a very big learning curve to be able to use something that I have built and it works. I also enjoy going for cruises in my 2010 Mitsibishi VRX Lancer which i saved my arse off to buy. And of course like any young bloke I Love playing my Computer Games epecially Grand Theft Auto and any Racing Games (Secretly a big hoon haha)

I am active on my local 2 metre repeater of Kroombit Tops (VK4RGA) and Banana Range (VK4RCQ) as well as HF (80, 40, 15 and 10 metre Bands) using my Yaesu FT-857d. I am on 7.068 LSB most afternoons

I am also active on Echolink either via my desktop computer when at home or via my iPhone 5c Cellphone or iPod Touch

I also use a Baofeng UV5RE+, and also you can catch me on 2M/70CM Repeaters when I travel to other towns either for work or when i go away for the weekends using my HT. I also have a Codan 8525a HF Land Mobile & Yaesu FT-757GX & Vertex System 600 as my base station it is hooked up to a MFJ Versa II Antenna Tuner which is hooked up to a G5RV Jr, All my radio gear in the shed runs off a GME 35amp Power supply.

Also Recently got into Mototrbo/DMR by way of my Tytera MD-380 HT

Now on DSTAR via a Raspberry Pi and DVAP and a Icom ID-31a, usually hang around on REF001C, DCS028Q

I can also be tracked via APRS which is currently set-up via my Android Mobile phone, my SSID is VK4VIP-9 for RF APRS, -5 for iAPRS and -7 for DSTAR

Also Use a Yaesu FT-857d in my mobile on the 2M/70CM bands as well as 40/20/15/11/10/6 metre bands aswell and have a GME TX3600 Commerical UHF for 450-512MHZ Commercial UHF and also 70CM Band & Icom ID-880h for 2M/70CM FM/DSTAR

My car (I call my "Land Based Prawn Traweler") with all the antennas on it, front antennas are UHF CB/ Commecial UHF for the TX3600, Dual Band 2M/70CM antenna for my FT-857d. Rear of cars has a dual band 2M/70CM for Id-880h and a Opek HVT-600 HF Multiband Vertical for HF on the FT-857.

Below is a My favorite photo from the top of the Banana Range where my clubs 2M and 70CM repeater are located, this photo is looking back towards Biloela, Queensland

If you hear me on the bands give me a call as I love a good QSO as I am a person who loves to talk and to learn new things

***Update*** I only direct QSL & eQSL!!!! so please don't QSL via QRZ. I am happy to respond to mail QSL Cards and EQSL.

This is because it never lets me match the correct time
