My Pedestrian Mobile is a walking mobile station (with the radio on my back) that i use while i am out hiking. My antenna is a 10 foot whip attached to the backpack frame. i use a dragging counterpoise (Dragwire) ground.

The primiary picture above was taken at Independence Pass, 12,095 feet in Colorado while i was using my PRC319 on CW. Yes, there is a lake on the top of the Continental Divide, This one empties into the Pacific Ocean.

St. Elmo Ghost Town----------------------

The picture above was taken at the St. Elmo Ghost Town, elevation 10,000 feet in 2 feet of snow. i was trying to grab on to a better ground spike but it broke off in my hand. i was working  N4LA and NI8N on 20 meter CW at the time. The PRC319 is on an ALICE Pack frame.

The picture on the Right is of the 1000 foot snow chutes at Glen Cove (Big Blue, 3 Sisters and Little Italy), Yes, younger guys ski down those chutes , One gal was killed there a few months ago. Plus a picture of me standing next to the 5 foot Oshkosh Snow Blowers used on Pikes Peak. i am holding my KX1 using a 10 foot whip.
