My station has changed over the last few months with the addition of a PX3panadapter and a KXP100 amplifier for the KX3, and a Kenwood 590SG. My hope is to also add a beam soon. The butterfly is just a representation of my other hobby, photography. I love rowing and kayaking as well. The mountain, Mt. Tom, overlooks our small town and the pond in the heart of town, known as "The Bottle" as it's shape resembles a bottle. As for me, I still work as I am a small business owner, but am hoping to be able to retire in just a few more years. I have two daughters and I am the grandmother of 5 beautiful children. Four boys and one girl! I enjoy contacting DX stations, but also enjoy a good ragchew. My fist is a bit rusty as I was away from my radios for quite a few years with medical issues, which are now resolved thanks to my two brand-new titanium hips! Unfortunately they don't radiate on any of the bands! I have added 2 go-boxes recently. One I put together myself with my KX3 and one I purchased from RadioSet-Go. Great for QRP work in the field. Watch for me on the air..I'd love to meet you! 73 to all.
