I became a ham in 1971 as WN3QQQ. My cousin Pete, WN3QQR, and I were next door neighbors, and we drove each other to extra (or at least Pete drove me!). Pete is now W3WC in the Pittsburgh area.
I  enjoy HF and two meters.., cw and phone. Recently I became active in digital modes. I can also operate on emergency battery backup. After a lull in ham activity, I have become re-energized and finished DXCC on 8 bands, DXCC Challenge Award and 5BWAS. Now it's contesting that is forcing me to regain my cw speed and test the limits of my station and antenna farm.
QSLs via LoTW - No bureau
QSL cards provided with SASE. I appreciate your understanding.

I am trustee for NE3MD, the Northeast Maryland Amateur Radio Contest Society. We are an ARRL affiliated club and we have begun to gather a group of local hams that are looking forward to contesting together or whatever kind of fun we can have in this great hobby. Check us out at www.nemarc.org.
