I operated W4FZ/VK6 from 14 March 2013 until 23 April 2013. QSL cards for all contacts made during this operation have been sent. Cheers and best 73s .. Will

I have lived and operated ham radio at several locations around the world and have held the following DX call signs: HH2WF (two years), EL2X (five years), ZS6WI (4.5 years), and SV0CP (two years). I retired in the fall of 2004 and moved to my present location in Virginia. My QTH is located on an island named Jerdone in Lake Anna. The USI number assigned to Jerdone Island is VA004L.  Lake Anna is very near the epicenter of the East Coast earthquake which occurred on 23 August 2011.

Primary rig is a Kenwood TS-990S transceiver with an ACOM-2000A Amp if needed.

Secondary rig is a restored Collins KWM2 transceiver. I also have a restored Collins 30S1 amp if needed.

Antennas consist of the following:

160 Meters -- Simple dipole for TX and K9AY loops and one beverage pointed NE for RX

80 Meters – 68 foot vertical with a lot of radials

40/20 Meters – Force12 MAG620/340N (6 ele monobander on 20 and 3 ele monobander on 40)

30 Meters - Corner fed delta loop

17/15/12/10 Meters – Force12 4BA (3 ele on each band)

The ANWireless tower is 70 feet (21.54 Meters). The Force12 4BA is mounted 10 feet above the top of the tower at 80 feet (24.62 Meters). The Force12 MAG620/340N is mounted at 72 feet (22.15 Meters).
