Hello and welcome to the north shores of Guthrie Lake in the State of Oklahoma. I am a new comer to this hobby when measured with the old ham stick. We had some boy scouts that expressed an interest in ham radio so a few of us adult leaders with the help of fellow hams in scouting attended the classes and as we say the rest is history.

I achieved Technician in November of 2010, General in May of 2011, and Extra in March of 2012. This was made possible through the Edmond Amateur Radio Society. A great bunch of men and women in our hobby.

For the time being this is my temporary ham shack. My main rig is a Yaesu FT- 450D. The other radios are a Yaesu FT-60 HT, Elecraft K2, and an old Kenwood TM-721A for 2 meter.

On the antennas I am running a Windom for HF and a Cushcraft 270B on 2 meters.

As you can see Emma enjoys the hobby also, especially the field trips.
