Licensed in Missouri in 1957 as K0MVX, been in New Mexico since 1965 and upgraded my license to Extra in 1978 and changed my call to W5QCP. Active on CW and SSB on 80 through 6 meters plus 2M FM and 2.3GHz Mesh.

I run a Yaesu FT DX-3000 and must say it is the sweetest rig I have ever used.  Beautiful audio and smooth tuning and I use inverted Vee antennas on 75 & 40M and a 3-ele beam on 20, 15 and 10, a vertical on 6M and a horizontal dipole up 35 ft. on 17 meters.  Then there is the G5RV inverted vee up 35 ft. for the other bands like 160M and 30M.  I also use the LDG AT-200Pro antenna tuner on all bands because the tuner built into the Yaesu is only good if the antenna is already near resonance.  I also run a Signalink USB for PSK and other digital modes.

Finally in the garage workshop I run a Ten-Tec R320D software controlled receiver to listen to the HF bands.  That little receiver has beautiful audio and I love it but I have wiped out the front end twice now by forgetting to turn it off and transmitting on the Yaesu inside the house.  It is a bear to replace the two mosfets in the front end because they are surface moung but I am getting pretty good at it.
