I was first licensed in 1968 as WN6ZFQ back when there were still Ham Radio Clubs at high schools.

After taking a long break from Ham Radio to pursue my career in Slilcon Valley I re-entered the hobby in 2001 with the goal of reaching the ARRL DXCC Honor Roll.

Thanks to the recent 3C7A DXpedition I have now worked and confirmed 333 current DXCC entities with a total of 336 worked and confirmed.

These days I just concentrate on working the new ones and band fills for an 8BDXCC.

One of my great joys has been my little "Do It Yourself DXpeditions."  These have included several holiday style ops from Mexico, Botswana, Zimbabwe, USVI, Hawaii, and the Bahamas.  It's fun to be the DX !

Unfortunately, the licensing procedure for operating in Mexico has become so cumbersome that I doubt I will be active from that country any time soon.

QSL requests for my 2009 C6A/W6DXO operation from South Andros Island (NA001) or my 2008 KP2/W6DXO operation from St. John in the USVI should be sent directly to my manager, KF6JOQ.

North American Hams need only include an SASE; DX please include an SAE and $2 US or 1 IRC. No Buro please.

NOTE: If you worked me from Mazatlan Mexico as XE2/W6DXO please QSL direct to my home call.
