Hello, my name is Craig Phillips, W7CDP (formally KG7BMV) and I live in Spokane, WA. (DN-17) My wife is also a ham, W7TSE who was newly licensed in July 2015. She is blind so it’s always a challenge to get equipment that works well for visually impaired individuals. A challenge, but fun making it work.
I have talked to and enjoyed many contacts along the way and will enjoy many more in the future. I hope to hear from you soon!
In the 60's I started my venture into Ham Radio but college and a wife put things on the back burner. I never lost interest however so a few years ago I said this is it, I want to do it. So, I got the latest ARRL Tech book and started to read and study and by mid-winter I was ready to take my test. Along the way I ran into a wonderful person who has given me lots of wisdom and insight into the Ham world, WA6CGJ is a person who is true a friend and has ham radio in his sole. Sense that time, I have passed my General in July 2013 and Extra Class May of 2016.
