I was first licensed in 1968 while in highschool with novice call WN7JHN. I didn't get upgraded before my license expired so I got discouraged and quit the hobby. So after retirement, about 47 years later, I got back on the air as a Technician with call KG7QPH and got my General a month later. I was able to get W7JHN as a vanity call.

My station is an Icom 7700 and IC-7300 which is also used portable in the motorhome. The antennas are a MFJ 1796 40 thru 10 meter vertical and a home brew 60 ft sloper that works 80 thru 10 meters.  A 3 element tri-band yagi (10, 15, and 20) has been recently added.

My station in 1968 Lt to Rt- Globe Scout 680A transmitter-Q Multiplier/speaker-Drake 2B receiver. The antennas at the time was a 80/40 meter dipole and a 15m 2 element Quad mounted on a windmill tower that was rotated manually by climbing the tower and turning the antenna.
