My name is Harlan (Harl) Goodsell. I have been an active Ham since 1955. I was first licensed in California as a Novice with the call of KN6JQD. Six months later I upgraded to a General Class license with the call of K6JQD. Several years later I upgraded to Advanced Class in 1970. In 1990 I upgraded to Extra Class License. I had moved from California to the State of Utah in 1977 and received the call of W7LTH. I enjoy DXing and am active on most of the HF bands. I use an IC-746 and a Cushcraft X-7 log-cell yagi with two added 40 meter elements. I also have a Kenwood TS-50 as a back-up rig. I am also active on 2 meters and some 6 meters.I recently moved  to a new QTH in North Logan Ut. where outside antennas are a "no no". My station now consists of an IC 746, a qrp OHR 100A on 40 meters and a Yeasu 2 meter radio. My antennas consist of a TV leadin J-pole on 2M and a 10 meter dipole in the attic. I use an MFJ 1788 Super Hi-Q Loop Antenna that lets me operate 40 through 15 meters. A far cry from my Cushcraft X-7 and Henry 2-KD, but far better than nothing!
