My station consist of an Icom IC-7100 transceiver with an LDG IT-100 autotuner connected to a Butternut HF9V vertical antenna mounted at ground level behind my apartment. I am pushing the rules just a bit with the antenna but the neighbors haven't complained so its ok so far. I have rather good reception with the Butternut as compared to my dipole, the vertical was a very favorable aquisition with the help of Harv KE7AY. I often am found up at the local Club House W7DG using the beams to do DX as I rarely break the US borders with my low elevation, antenna placement and surrounding hills. I am having fun learning Fldigi with the help of my Elmer Randy NU7D. PSK31 is my favorite and I really enjoy 20 meters with that.

I also have an Icom ID-880H mobile tranceiver and a Diamond X50a antenna up about 20 feet for local rag chew and also Dstar network access. I have found with that radio its best to program it with the universal usb adapter but I have taken the time to learn the manual method as well. I have a few older HT's and an Icom ID51A + as well. I use a Raspberry Pi2 and a dvap for DSTAR connectivity.

If we have worked, Thank you for the contact and to those who are curious I hope to work you some day. 73
