DX stations please note: If you worked me and the QTH was a location other than Incline Village, Nevada USA, I was working you via Remote Ham Radio. When using RHR I will always give the transmiting location Per DXCC rules.
I was first First licensed in August 1978 as KA8CAP in Dearborn, Michigan. For a number of years I was inactive, before having time to get back into Ham radio on VHF.
Several years later and the correct QTH for antennas, I started working HF again and that is where you will find me most of the time. Favorite modes are SSB, RTTY and PSK31. Curently working to regain my CW skills, thanks for your patients!
My home QTH is Incline Village, Nevada, USA. Located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. - Grid locator DM09ag
At the home QTH, my station toys are an Yaesu FT-991, homebrew folded dipole at 80 feet. Computer is a MacBook Air with Signalink interface. When the going gets tough I will use an Ameritron AL-811 amplifier.
