Hello from Severn Maryland. Station was constructed by WA3EKL and K3ZZ. The station is operated by WA3EKL, N3DPB (XYL of WA3EKL for 38 years and an amateur for 38 years!) and an excellent contest crew.  Taller AB 105 tower has three elements on 20 meters, over four elements on 15 meters, over four elements on 15 meters, over three elements on 20 meters. AB 105 tower also has a steerable 80 meter three element halfwavelength sloper array designed by K3ZZ. The second slightly shorter Trylon tower has two elements on 40 meters, over four elements on 10 meters, over four elements on 10 meters. It also has an 80 meter inverted vee at 85 feet. Plus on 40 meters we use a vertical triangle, point down with the flat top about 49 feet above ground, and the point 8 feet off the ground. It is fed at the point with a 4 to 1 ohm ballun. There is a 160 meter inverted "L" between the two towers with an 85 foot vertical section, twentyfour 75 foot buried radials and a six foot by twentyfive foot one inch mesh chicken wire ground screen.   We use five BOG antennas for receive on 160 meters, each 157 feet in length (per the measured v.f. of my dirt) pointed West, Northwest, Northeast, East and South.  Plus a three element, passive, low impediance, 35 foot vertical triangular recieving array on 160 which hears considerably better than the BOGs.  The vertical arrays cardioid pattern is rotatable every 60 degrees around the compass. All 10 through 40 antennas are independently rotatable. The top two antennas on each tower rotate 360 degrees and 355 degrees. The three lower antennas on 10, 15, and 20 meters rotate 300 degrees around the tower. All antennas were computer designed by WA3EKL and K3ZZ except for the upper 40 and lower 20 which are a commercial design but modified by WA3EKL and K3ZZ.  On 6 Meters we have a HB 4 element rotatable yagi at 34 feet.

We enjoy ragchewing, DXing, Slow scan - EasyPal, and Contesting. See you on the air.
