I have been licensed since March 1967.  My first calls were WN2AMB and WA2AMB as a result of me taking the Novice and Technician exam at the same time in Galway, New York while I was working for General Electric Company.  GE was the first full time job after graduating college in August 1966 from Youngstown University in Youngstown, Ohio.

I have dedicated vertical single band antennas for 28, 50,144, 222 and 432 MHz.  I also have a MFJ vertical for 80 through 2 meters.  Wire antennas consist of a multi-band for 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters and a second wire antenna for 4.0 MHz and 4.6MHz Air Force Mars work.

I presently operate under three calls: WA3KFT my home call, W3AWA club call for the Mobile Sixers Radio Club, Inc. and AFA3LF for Air Force MARS.

You can usually find me on 7237 at noon on Sundays running the Antique Wireless Net, on 50.550 ssb at 9pm Sundays and 147.195 + with PL of 100.0 at 9pm Tuesdays running the Mobile Sixers Radio Club nets.  I often check into the QCWA net on 146.985 at 9am Monday through Friday and the Marple-Newtown weather and information net at 8:30am on 147.195 MHz.
