I was first licensed in 1968 and was very active until college in 1975. I have been QRT until March 2013, and got the "HAM" bug again. I am enjoying the digital modes, and JT-9 and JT-65 in particular. I just purchased a Kenwood TS-590S running about 10 watts with JT modes.  The antenna is a 135 foot doublet tuned with 300 ohm ladder line, up 45 ft. The tuner is a MFJ-974B balanced tuner. It must be hidden in the trees here or the neighborhood will get upset due to all the restrictions on antennas

I enjoy SSB DX with a minimal setup and use this mode to interest my two children to become involved in the hobby.  Most recently, I got back into CW, and really enjoy the mode chasing DX with my basic antenna.

I am just learning to use logging software, and have a way to go to get everything established for QSL cards, LOTW, etc. Wish I had more time!

My age is 60 and I work as a respiratory and sleep disorders physician here in Pittsburgh, PA. Thanks for looking me up and hope to see you anywhere on the HF bands!
