(picture - me on top of Pancake Rocks, west of Pikes's peak Near Cripple Creek, Colorado at about 11,000ft)

This is my "micro-shack".  Yaesu FT-857D 160m-70cm, YT-100 Antenna Tuner, Signalink USB, MFJ power supply, APC 800 UPS power into a 2m/70cm magnet mount and an end-fed 75ft zep antenna.  Santa Claus brought me a near-mint used keyer for Christmas.  The previous owner bought it and never plugged it in.

Here's my mobile station in my VW Golf.  My car is WA4OSH (VHF/UHF rig) and WA4OSH-2 (microtrak).   Look for me on APRS.fi

I have experimented with several other devices with different suffixes.  The TinyTrak receives the GPS signal and sends the GPS coordinates to a central server through an Internet gateway.  The server puts the location of all sorts of ham radio devices (like boats, cars and weather stations, etc. ) on a map.

This is a Byonics MicroTrak 3, opened up.  I made a slight mod that makes it easy to change from one configuration to another by moving a jumper.

Externally, the Microtrak has a little GPS receiver and a vhf/uhf antenna.
