Home QTH equipment is Kenwood TS-990, Alpha 87A amplifier and M2 KT34M2, 4 element triband beam at 50 feet (15 meters), Innovantenna LFA 6 element beam for 6 meters mounted below the KT34M2 and a Diamond CP62, 5/8 over 5/8 wave vertical also for 6 meters. A Comet GP6 146/440 MHz vertical is on top of the tower and connected to Motorola VHF & UHF Maxtrac 300s. Also seen is a Davis weather station (upper picture). Pictures do not show updated 6 meter antennas. New pictures coming soon.

The WA6APQ BEACON on 28.2440 MHz is located on a 330 foot hill (Signal Hill) in Long Beach, California. Radio is a Motorola Mitrek consolette base station, 30 watts, antenna is Antron 99 vertical. Code speed is approx. 10 wpm and operates 24/7. Since 1993.
