First licensed in 1965 as WN7HTJ, then as WA7HTJ when I passed my General class license in 1966. A year later I earned my Advanced license and finally my Extra class in 2000.

The current station is a Kenwood TS-570SG driving an Ameritron AL-811 when needed. I have dipoles on 80, 40, 17 and 12 meters and use a Hygain TH-6DXX for 20, 15 and 10.

As an avid repeater owner/operator, I maintain the WA7HJR/R UHF FM and DSTAR repeaters that cover the Puget Sound area in Western Washington. See http://wa7hjr.org for details.

I also have a Private Pilot's certificate and enjoy flying my Cherokee 180C when weather and time permit.
